General requirements for the safety of military service. General requirements for the security of military service What are the main activities in the armed forces

Military service safety - this is to ensure the protection of military personnel, the population and the surrounding natural environment from threats arising in the course of the activities of the Armed Forces Russian Federation.

The security of military service is carried out in accordance with the following principles: ensuring the priority of life and health of people in organizing the daily activities of troops; compliance with the rule of law; the adequacy of the measures taken to threats to the security of military service; comprehensiveness and continuous preventive orientation of the measures taken; clear delineation of functions, powers and responsibilities of military command and control bodies and military officials; state guarantees of the rights and socio-economic security of servicemen in the event of harm to their life and health.

The security requirements that determine the security of servicemen are established by legislative acts, normative and technical documentation, rules and instructions. In order to fulfill these requirements, instructions are given to servicemen, which are divided into introductory, primary, repeated, unscheduled and targeted briefings.

Introductory briefings conducted by officials of the military unit: with all servicemen - upon their arrival for military service; with listeners and cadets who arrived at the unit for practice (internship) - before it starts; with persons sent to the unit - upon their arrival at the unit. The program of the induction briefing is approved by the commander of the military unit.

Initial briefings are conducted by unit commanders directly at the places of performance of official and special duties individually with each newly arrived serviceman, practically showing safe techniques and methods of performing these duties.

Repeated briefings unit commanders also conduct primary briefing programs at least once every six months.

Unscheduled briefings unit commanders conduct when introducing new instructions on safety requirements, receiving new weapons, machinery and equipment, receiving reviews and information about incidents, identifying violations of security measures by military personnel; interruptions in the performance of official duties by soldiers for more than two months.

Targeted briefings personnel are carried out before taking up combat duty ( combat service); in preparation for guard duty; every time when performing work associated with increased danger; when transporting military personnel and explosive goods by all types of transport; when leaving on business trips and vacations; upon liquidation emergencies; at the beginning of the bathing season - about the rules of bathing; as well as in other cases by decision of the commander of a unit or formation.

When working with weapons and military equipment it is necessary to ensure that it is carried out in strict accordance with the established technological requirements; admission of servicemen to the right to operate technical facilities to perform maintenance and repair work is permitted only after training and passing the test for the right to work independently;

When carrying out combat training measures, security measures must be envisaged and those responsible for their implementation must be identified; special attention should be paid to the selection and professional training of leaders of classes, the equipment of the places where they are held, the serviceability of weapons and military equipment, imitation equipment, the ability of personnel to comply with safety requirements in the classroom.

All servicemen are required to know and comply with fire safety requirements, to be able to handle fire extinguishing equipment. In the event of a fire, each soldier is obliged to immediately call a military fire protection and rescue team (regular fire brigade) or an emergency fire brigade and start extinguishing the fire with all available means, as well as rescuing people, weapons, military equipment and other material means.

The regiment commander (head of the training ground) is responsible for meeting the fire safety requirements in the forests assigned to the regiment (training ground), as well as in all places where training, shooting, exercises and other combat training events are held.
